Antique sheets – from the coarse cream ‘chanvre’ (hemp) to fine linen
monogrammed, as well as the lesser known ‘metisse’ - a mix of linen and cotton
giving an interesting dense flexible texture, are always in stock for quick
delivery. These are great as bed covers for the summer, curtains or used to make
supple clothing which you can easily dye to any colour you want.

I also keep a variety of antique quilted bedcovers, from the small ones to cover
your feet – great to use as throws over the back of armchairs – to the larger
type that can cover a double bed. These look good over the back of a sofa, over
a rocking chair or even as a tablecloth.
Vintage lace and crochet curtains can be used as table runners, shawls, throws
as well as curtains.
The hand embroidered pillowslips, monogrammed antique serviettes and red striped
t- towels (torchons) are just an e mail away! All great for their original use
or ready to turn into attractive cushion covers.
