Antique and Peasant Clothing based in France
Antique Clothing are now just a phone call or email away!
Most of the vintage and antique clothes I source and buy date from the 19th and
20th century, tending towards the peasant/workers’ type clothing but I can find
anything you might require as I have built up a large source base which covers a
wide variety of antique clothing. The peasant/workers’ clothes are nicely worn
and full of character.
I am happy to get any amount you need – from a single item to a whole load!
Below is an idea of the clothing I have already supplied to various customers:
Men’s Antique Clothing
Peasant trousers – these can be the striped variety, riding trousers, blue
cotton, linen and long johns.
Jackets – all styles including worker’s blue button fastening, worn suiting in
blacks greys and blues.
Shirts - linen nightshirts, workers striped or checked with a longer back than
front, white dress shirts
Aprons, gaiters, waistcoats, hats- both felt and straw, workers’ bags made from
canvas.

Women’s Antique Clothing
Skirts – long or short black skirts – gathered or pleated in velvets, satins,
grosgrain and wool
Underskirts – in white with lace, gathered with and without frills
Blouses – white cotton with frilled fronts, short or long sleeves, black satin
with or without frills – any design you can think of!
Dresses – evening or workday wear
Aprons – half and full, plain and gathered with frills and lace
Shawls - lace, knitted, crochet,
Hats – felt and straw
gloves, bags, and feathers
